The Tuscaloosa County Bar Association will hold its annual meeting at 12 noon on June 26, 2019 at Half Shell Oyster House. We are proud to announce that at this annual meeting our speaker will be Greg Byrne, Athletic Director at The University of Alabama. Reservations fare required and the deadline to register is June 19. No refunds or credits can be given after this date.

Nominations from members are now being accepted for this year’s elections. In order to nominate and to vote, you must be a regular member in good standing with the Alabama and Tuscaloosa County Bar Associations.
We will have elections for our President, Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer for 2019-2020 as well as elections for two (2) seats on the TCBA Executive Committee, and 3 seats on the Public Defender's Commission.

For Executive Committee: Daniel Pruet and Everett Hoagland
For Public Defender Commission: Jaime Conger, Joel Sogol, and Jason Neff
Additional nominations must be submitted in writing via email to the current President, Mary Turner (mary@turnerlawgroup.net) with a copy to the current Secretary, Katie Osburne (kosburne@uasystem.edu) Nominees for all seats must be regular members in good standing with the Alabama and Tuscaloosa County Bar Associations and additional nominees for any position of Officer or Member of the Executive Committee may be nominated, upon the concurrence of five (5) Regular Members. Nominations for all officer positions and committees must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on June 11, 2019. in order for the nominee to be included on the ballot.
After the time for additional nominations has closed, voting will be done via electronic ballot, and the voting will be held from June 13. 2019 until June 19, 2019. Voting will be conducted via electronic ballot using Election Buddy which will e-mail all eligible members a one-time private voting link the morning of the election.
