Beat Auburn Beat Hunger Food Drive

The Beat Auburn Beat Hunger food fight is an annual event sponsored by the Community Service Center at the University of Alabama and the West Alabama Food Bank (WAFB).  During the six weeks leading up to the Iron Bowl, students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members “fight” Auburn University and the East Alabama Food Bank to see who can collect the most non-perishable food items.  In 2011,  237,079 lbs. of food was raised for the West Alabama Food Bank and  beat Auburn by more than 100,000 pounds.
The goal this year is to raise 250,000 pounds for the WAFB.

The success of this food drive is heavily dependent on support from individuals and businesses.  Join the food fight today by making a non-perishable food contribution.

Food may be donated through November 16, 2012.  Donations are being accepted at any Express Oil Change location and donations can be brought to Rosen Harwood, P.A.
